At the Kryvorizhzhia Iron Ore Plant, there are more than four thousand talented, creative, enthusiastic young people who love their enterprise! To ensure that the lives of the plant’s youth are interesting and fulfilling, the youth council of the plant, consisting of youth leaders who oversee work with young people, takes care of this. There are 22 youth councils in the plant’s structural divisions. The department for youth affairs coordinates all work with those under 35. The active stance, work, skills, will, and intelligence of the youth make a significant contribution to the implementation of the plant’s production program.
Youth activists carry out significant work in patriotic education, lobbying interests and implementing ideas, organizing meaningful leisure, and forming an active life position, as well as improving and developing the youth of the plant. The plant’s youth council organizes numerous diverse events covering both production and social spheres. These include competitions for professional skills, identifying leaders of a new formation, and the best youth council. Additionally, there is work on career guidance activities to provide the miner families with new personnel, caring for the environment, participating in events dedicated to Earth Day, visiting people with disabilities, conducting informational and educational campaigns, organizing competitive and entertaining programs for young people, and educational trips to historical and picturesque places in Ukraine. With the activation of the youth organization at the plant, those under 35 have more chances to reveal and realize their potential, directing their strength, ambition, and knowledge towards improving the production process, which will undoubtedly lead to success. After all, it is they, the young, who will continue the glorious history of miners!
